Unwind after the busy holiday season with some entertainment in the Dallas Arts District

The Dallas Arts District is the perfect destination for date nights, family outings, and social gatherings. There are always fun events going on so keep an eye on their calendar (http://www.thedallasartsdistrict.org/calendar). This weekend is no exception. Tonight, the Dallas Museum of Art will be hosting their weekly Jazz in the Atrium at 6pm. The entertainment is provided for free with general admission to the museum, so this is a great event for those who are a little more budget conscious. There will be food and beverage for sale, but if you want to try something a little different, check out the area food trucks before you go in (http://www.thedallasartsdistrict.org/visit/food-trucks-in-the-district). Also, this evening the Myerson Symphony Center will be hosting Mannheim Steamroller Christmas by Chip Davis. Tickets can be purchased at https://www.dallassymphony.com/season-tickets/reserve.aspx?perf=5744. This best selling Christmas group is sure to put on a memorable performance! And finally all weekend the Blue Man Group will be performing at The Winspear Opera House. These guys always put on a great show, having seen them once myself, I would label this a must see! There are plenty of showtimes to choose from and tickets for this event can be purchased at http://tickets.attpac.org/single/psDetail.aspx?psn=28916#.UNyG8x25N8F.
